When is kite season in Langebaan?
The prime kite season runs November through March when the Cape Doctor south-easterly is most consistent, typically blowing 18–30 knots. This coincides with our high season rates. The lagoon is flat water and suitable for all levels.
How far is the property from the kite launch?
Oliv House is approximately 5 minutes from the main lagoon kite launch spots. Gear storage is available at the property so you can come and go easily without packing everything back into the car each time.
Is the property fully self-catering?
Yes, Oliv House is fully self-catering with a complete kitchen, braai area, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s no daily housekeeping service, which means complete privacy throughout your visit.
